Well, I´m now married.
Steph and I were married on Mon. Sept. 7th on-board the Coral Princess.
We then cruised north to Alaska and then flew home from Anchorage with a transfer in Chicago.
The wedding and cruise were great fun. Our families joined us and I think everyone had a good time.
I went off my diet for the two weeks I was off work. I definitely gain weight but am back on my diet again and hopefully it will not take too long to get back to where I was before the cruise. Ideally I´d like to be back down by mid-November as that is Gaming Weekend time again and it´s always fun to pig-out a bit on that weekend.

As August begins I had a good weigh in. I'm very close to a milestone, but unfortunately I did eat a bit too much over the long weekend. Hopefully my slight indulgence will not effect my wish to reach the milestone weigh-in by this upcoming Sat.

• Watched Torchwood series 3. I liked it but it was also very dark and left off on a pretty big downer.
• Worked on a new website hobby project.
• Ate too much on Sun (at least I went for a walk).
• Now down 45 lbs. overall (10 more to a nice milestone).
• Sushi for dinner Sat.

Chatted for awhile tonight with my friend Rob about a game he wants to make. Has me watered up to try making my own game.

Need to fix my Risk 2210 card creator application. For some reason it's not positioning the text correctly any more.

Got my wedding ring the other day. Gonna get a smaller one since it's a bit too big.

New Torchwood seems to be coming out this week. New episode every night to tell a 5 part story.

My attempt to lose as much weight as possible in the months leading up to my wedding in Sept. is going very well. I am counting calories (and restricting some foods and how late I can eat) on a weekly basis and exersizing regularily (walking and using my bowflex). In the past 7 weeks I have lost 31 lbs. That works out to about 4.5 lbs per week. I am pleased with this progress, it annoying and hard but it'll be worth it. I am looking forward to the wedding cruise and going off my diet while on the ship.

Well, Battlestar Galactica (BSG) has finally come to an end.

Good riddance!

I can't understand how anyone could have enjoyed this series past season 1. It was a show that seemed to be embarrassed that it was a science fiction show and went out of it's way to minimize those elements. I suppose if you too are embarrassed to be a science fiction fan, maybe this was good for you? This self-loathing combined with a full-of-himself writer/producer that obviously had no idea what the overall plot was going to be (and didn't care) and just made it up at the last possible minute, making decisions for no other reason than to be seemingly contrary to what was already setup and to "fool" the shows fans made for frustrating, awful television.

The Cylons were created by man. Not Really, the centurions were created by man, but the centurions were just the worker bees, the leader cylons or skinjobs were created by other cylons.
They Rebeled.
They Evolved. No they didn't. That's just a stupid thing to say.
There are many copies.
They look and feel human.
Some are programmed to think they are human.
And they have a plan. Do they? What was it? I watched the entire series and you know what, they had no plan.
Twelve Cylon models. Wrong.
Seven are known. Seven Cylon Models.
Four live in secret. / Four live in the fleet. Five.
One will be revealed. How disappointing.

Finally warm enough to melt most of the snow, so I put our new barbeque together. Will probably move it to the back yard tomorrow and make some burgers for dinner.

We went to 168 Sushi Buffet again tonight. Steph´s mom is visiting and is now a fan of 168 Sushi as well. We may try going to the new location in Mississauga later in the week.

Well I really enjoyed making my Risk 2210 A.D. card creator, and people seem to enjoy using it so here are some ideas for new game modification card creators I will hopefully be working on soon (in addition to the territory/faction card expansion for the Risk 2210 A.D. card creator):

• Monopoly property creator
• Monopoly Chance/Comm. Chest card creator
• Nuclear War card creator
• Illuminati card creator
• Munchkin card creator
• Chez Geek card creator
• Mag-Blast card creator
• Ninja Burger card creator

Seems like alot of work, good thing I enjoy it...

Let me know if you have any feedback on the current Risk 2210 A.D. card creator or suggestions for new card creators.

Improvements I´ll be making soon:

• Risk 2210 page.
• admin section & database: posts are associated with a "page" selectable with a dropdown when creating/editing posts
• admin section: remember importance in dropdown
  
• admin section: enable/disable from main screen (button or checkbox) instead of edit screen [AJAX]
  
• admin section: add the ability to browse for an image in the site directories with thumbnails (nib.zip)
  
• an archive page of old posts, possibly sectioned by date
  
• ability to move posts to the archive section
• add cool tooltips to post date time to show created date/updated date/importance
• "new post" html templates (stored in a templates db table?)
• accordian icon resize on active accordian?
• set accordian size to a max of 400-500 when it would be over that and show scrollbars (max-height css property?)
